Andrew Nemeth
Andrew Nemeth has many passions, and instead of limiting himself to just one--he pursues all of them with gusto. He's a full time husband, a son and a brother; during part of the week he works to connect young people to Jesus; other parts of the week he works with a team of creatives to help organizations communicate more effectively; in the evenings he whips up culinary creations; on weekends he travels (both domestic & international); in the summer he backpacks and camps, and in the winter he snowbaords in the Rockies; when the lighting is right he snaps photos; he loves all kinds of music; he's a wizard with numbers, spreadsheets, & finances; and in his free time he reads books and works on his '95 4Runner.
Dave Small
Dave Small is a 21 year veteran of the career fire service and retired as a Battalion Chief in 2004. While serving in the fire service he was a youth pastor for over 17 years and an ordained elder in his church. During his time as a Youth Pastor Dave and his team opened a “youth church” in Downtown Hobbs, NM called Ground Zero. This ministry saw hundreds of unchurch and churched students participate in the ministry. Through his efforts to encourage students to participate in missions Dave has helped young people travel around the world with various ministries. He currently teaches numerous courses/seminars on management, leadership, communications and safety through SHARP Communications and Consulting LLC where his main goal is to “add value to all I serve”.
Justin Steinhart
Justin Steinhart is a Colorado native and grew up on an alfalfa farm in a small town in southern Colorado. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications: Media Management from CU and a Masters degree in Practical Theology. In 2006 he started working at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. In 2007, he became the National Events Director for Desperation Ministries and ran the Desperation Conference and Youth Leader Prayer Summit through some of it’s highest attended years. In 2011, thru God’s prompting, he felt called to leave and within a week he realized that he was being called to help plant Mill City Church in Fort Collins, Colorado where he is still serving as their Administrative Pastor. He loves Colorado, reading books, theological discussions, problem solving, and going to a movie.
Zach Spector
Zach Spector is the Associate Student Pastor at The Rock Church in Castle Rock, CO. After graduating from The Forge Leadership Academy in 2013, he went on staff at The Rock in the fall of 2013. He currently works with the Youth and Young Adult groups. Besides loving Jesus, he has a passion for speaking, sports, books, and people.
Aaron Wagner
Aaron Wagner is the Worship and Creative Pastor at The Rock. At the young age of 24, Aaron has been pastoring people in worship for 13 years in various ministries. Best known for his songwriting and producing, Aaron is the leader of WATR Music, The Rock Church’s expression of worship and MEDIC, his rock band. Aaron is married to his high school best friend, Jen who ministers beside him in the worship ministry. They love the mountains, traveling, Apple products, old pianos, Wes Anderson films and their dog, Kingsley.
Fernando Morales
Pastor Fernando Morales, Student Ministries Pastor at New Life Church in Santa Barbara, CA. Formerly the Assistant Director for Youth for the Nations, one of the largest youth camps & conferences in the nation, he holds a Degree in Youth Ministry from Christ for the Nations Institute. His life calling is to bring a message of Hope & Purpose to a lost generation. He currently lives in Santa Barbara, CA alongside his beautiful wife, Faith Morales.
Karla Swanigan
Karla Swanigan is a gifted speaker, minister, and engaging storyteller known for her transparency and authenticity. With an impactful testimony of how God has transformed her own life, her heart is to connect others with the heart of God and the truth of how He sees them, through teaching, preaching, and prophetic ministry.
Karla has spent the last three years as the Women’s Pastor of The Rock church in Castle Rock, CO where she spoke and ministered to people of all ages at weekend services, conferences, retreats, prayer breakfasts, and classes. She also has a heart to reach people outside the church and has spent time ministering to the homeless, those recovering from addictions, those serving time in jails, and youth and adults who have suffered from sexual abuse.
Karla and her husband, John, live in Larkspur, CO with their two boys, Zachary and Evan.
Paula Clodfelder
Paula is the Pastor of Community at her church, The Rock, in Castle Rock Colorado. She has a passion to see a spiritual family flourish and grow in the context of God's grace and authentic community. Having experienced the bumps and bruises of life, she wants to see humanity redeemed, and set free to experience the destiny they were created for. One of her greatest joys is collaborating with other leaders and empowering the people she works with to walk strongly in their giftings. She has ministered in all types of settings, both large and small, and always enjoys communicating the overwhelming grace of God for the lost and broken of this world.
She has three children; two sons, one very teenage daughter, and a dog named Buddy that live with her in Castle Rock, Co.
Nathan Headley
Nathan Headley doesn’t like writing biographies. He lives in San Diego, CA with his wife and 4 kids. They pastor a church. To find out more about him all you need to do is drive or fly to San Diego and starting yelling his name. He will find you. If he doesn’t, go home. Nathan is an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and movie watcher. He loves a good story no matter what the medium. He has lead youth ministries, small groups ministries, and pastored a couple churches. If he isn’t playing at the beach with his kids then he is sitting in a coffee shop reading and talking with people. He passionately does whatever he is doing at the moment.
Chris Tomlinson
At the age of seventeen, Chris was radically saved and soon after felt an urge to minister the Gospel fulltime. He has been a pastor ever since. He is passionate and devoted to leading people into relationship with God. He is a champion of the local church and the community that God has provided in it. It is his life’s purpose to serve the cause of Christ at every opportunity. Chris is the lead Pastor of Destiny Church in Jacksonville, Florida where he and his wife, Jodi, live with their children: Megan, Paige, and Hope.
David Purvis
David owns and operates VisionAir a Denver, Colorado based aviation company that specializes in high level owner pilot training and corporate pilot services. He is a corporate jet captain and a master flight instructor. His past includes an undergraduate degree in International Business Management, being a pastor at two great churches, taking teenagers all over the world, and growing up on a farm in Pennsylvania. His present includes being married to the miracle worker and woman of His dreams Amanda, they met in china. No, she is not Chinese. David and the miracle worker have 5 incredible little world changers, 2 biological, three adopted. Purvis doesn't blog, but may start after he can find more time than is needed for bathroom breaks.
Ernest Smith
Ernest lives in Castle Rock, Colorado with his wife of 12 years, Sara, and their two kids, Wyatt (5 yrs old) and Waverly (3 years old). Ernest and his family moved to Castle Rock in July 2013 and started Front Range Christian Church in February 2014. Ernest feels blessed to lead such a great team of staff and volunteers as they seek to reach the un-churched of South Denver. Before moving to start Front Range, Ernest was on staff at Seacoast Church (Charleston, South Carolina) for over 15 years, serving in a variety of roles.
